MAY 10, 2003 MEETING

The second meeting of the Central Texas Support group was held the afternoon of May 10, 2003 in Austin. The group was composed of svereal people with TM and their family members. We had folks attend from as far away as Houston, Waco and Kyle.

Discussion ranged from medications, physicians and symptoms, to how to arrange further meetings and how to format the TX group as whole. It was decided that an effort would be made to email all TX TMA members to let them know a Texas group is forming and ask if anyone would be interested in organizing meetings in their area. The topic of a mailout to TX TMA members was also discussed. In addition, the possibility of guest speakers was discussed and members will check with neurologists and physical therapists to see if anyone is interested.

Our meeting concluded with a group picture. Please see below.
